On Tuesday Nov 22nd the Harker Heights City Council voted 4-1 to quash the newly sanctioned ordinance decriminalizing low level Marijuana possession.
Unlike Harker Heights, Texas cities such as Elgin, San Marcos and Austin, have supported the will of the voters for relaxed marijuana possession penalties.
Discussions with the Harker Heights City Council, legal experts and the public will continue as the future adoption of the ballot initiative is determined.
